Allie Sider

Allie Sider tattoos can best be described as Allie Sider tattoos. With a style composed of black and grey line work, Sider’s landscape, animal, and nature tattoos look like they were pulled out of an heirloom children’s book.  Many of his subjects and scenes seem like one part of a greater story, allowing the viewer's imagination to fill in the gaps.

Allie tattoos like he draws—with close attention to fine detail, including the use of a technique that uses a distinctive combination of stipple and whip-shadowing, affectionately identified as “stipplewhipping” by his Logan Square Tattoo colleagues. His work speaks for itself.  His most frequent subjects are rodents and birds, which is paradoxical since he owns one-too-many cats.
