Hi! My name is Mi Isabelle, Misa for short! I’ve been tattooing since December 2022 and have been dedicating my style to illustrative, fineline work that features pops of color! A lot of my designs are inspired by a combination of many other art styles, including classic romance mangas, art nouveau, and Japanese horror. From flashes to custom designs, being able to create a unique tattoo with a special story to tell will always be my favorite part of the collaboration work with clients.
Horror and pop meets fineline and dark art tattoos
While misa's work has a strong foundation in illustration and manga, her tattoo style takes on a life of it's own. A strong foundation of black balances out the subtle fineline work that her tattooing is known for. Her subject matter is dark and mysterious. Indifferent severed heads staring back at you as if to say "what are you looking at?" She selectively uses colors to accentuate her otherwise stark designs, giving them a softness and life while still being dark and foreboding.
