Chicago's favorite Logan Square tattoo shop has a stacked October — a new tooth gem service, a guest artist making his Chicago debut, fresh flash from Allie, and a wall full of walk-in-ready American traditional and blackwork pieces. Here's what's new.
✨ Chicago Tooth Gems Are Here — Starting in October
Logan Square Tattoo is officially offering tooth gems in Chicago, applied by resident technician Shannon Rodriguez (@wholelottarhinestones). Quick, sparkly, and totally non-committal, tooth gems are perfect whether you're prepping for a festival, a bachelorette weekend, or just want a little extra shine before your next night out. Shannon will be in for walkin appointments on Sundays and available by appointment the rest of the week. We are stoked to be able to offer this additional service and can wait to see some new sparkle coming to Logan Square!

🖤 Guest Artist Jorge Lopez Comes to Chicago Oct 7–8 (Recurring Monthly!)
We're thrilled to welcome guest tattoo artist Jorge Lopez, award-winning owner of Black Thorn Tattoo (Appleton, WI), for his first Chicago guest spot at Logan Square Tattoo October 7–8. With 15+ years of experience and a convention resume spanning Rosendale, Baltimore, and Dallas, Jorge specializes in portrait realism, dark art, and surrealism tattoos — and after October, he'll be back for recurring monthly guest spots, so this is just the beginning.
🚶 Walk-In Season: American Traditional from Temple & Ornamental Blackwork from Gifford
We always like to highlight a few recent tattoos we're proud of. This month walk-ins are alive and well at Logan Square. Temple got to do some fresh bold, bright American traditional tattoo's— classic linework and color that never goes out of style. Meanwhile, shop owner Gifford has been tattooing striking ornamental blackwork pieces, bringing his signature illustrative precision to symmetrical, pattern-based designs. Both are great options if you're looking for a same-day Chicago tattoo without sacrificing quality.

Resident artist Allie Sider just dropped a brand-new batch of flash designs — his signature blend of animals, plants, and playful objects rendered in bold illustrative black and grey as well as a new series of ornamental blackwork designs. Flash pieces are first-come, first-served and perfect for anyone looking for a smaller, walk-in-friendly Chicago tattoo with a designer feel. Or take this as a jumping off point for your larger project with Allie. If you know Allie, you know that he is a design workhorse and happy to rework any of these into your own custom vision.
